May. 21st, 2006 02:25 pmOn Beyond the Veil, one of the fanfic sites I'm involved with, they have a Best Of section, and someone recomended both Canis Majoris and Masquerade Cliché in their respective categories!
Aww, I feel so loved and talented!
Maybe it really IS me...
May. 14th, 2006 10:46 pmJust wanted you to know I haven’t forgotten about you.
Trins out.
Final CM Update *sniff*
Mar. 31st, 2006 08:53 pmChapter 34 of CM has been posted at MNFF. *sighs* I'm so happy I finished a story! And yet so incredibly sad...
Thanks to all my faithful readers!! I love you guys!
Gah, only one chapter left, and I finished it this morning! Where does time go?
Jocelyn, I’m sorry. I’m so, so sorry. But there was nothing I could do. I worked it out as best I could. You worked it out as best you could. We all did the best we could, and you can’t ask for more than that.
But I’m just as sorry things had to end up this way as you are.
What happened to my muse???
Mar. 3rd, 2006 12:01 amAnd, quite frankly, it's getting really annoying.
Update... at last!
Jan. 12th, 2006 08:54 amI was pleasantly surprised at how close the two responses to last night's post came to the actual description of Jocelyn. Jocelyn does, indeed, look a lot like Sirius (and I refer, here, to the real Sirius, not the Gary Oldman Sirius), and my dear friend Julia described her almost perfectly.
I have always pictured Jocelyn as looking a lot like my friends Allison and Lacy, who could both be models, but are pretty in a more understated, less flashy way. The difference, of course, between Jocelyn and Allison and Lacy, is that Jocelyn has a lot of spirit and fiery determination that comes out in the way she looks (Allison and Lacy are both very quiet and super sweet). Jocelyn's hair is black, very fine, and stick straight; It's pretty long, a little past mid-back, and sways when she walks. Her eyes are dark brown (as dark as they can be while still being obviously brown and not mistaken for black), and she's got a medium skin-tone (in other words, semi-tan). She's tall, not that much shorter than James, Remus, and Sirius, and thin (but a healthy weight, not skin and bones). Overall, she is, as James put it, "extremely good looking".
*sighs* That really didn't do her justice at all. Someday I'll find a good picture of her to put on a banner, and then you'll all see what I mean.
I realized today that in CM I never, ever describe Jocelyn physically, other than the fact that she is "extremely good looking" according to James. So I'm curious, and I'd really like it if a couple people could respond: How do you invision Jocelyn? I'll post a description of what she does look like after I get a few responses. Thanks in advance for satisfying my curiousity!

(I would just like to point out, in all due modesty, how quickly I update. It hasn't even been a week!)
