So my friend Liz is coming to visit me in Scotland this weekend. She's staying until Wednesday. She was supposed to come tonight, but her flight was cancelled, so she's coming tomorrow night instead. Is it bad that I'm happy? Probably.

Also, on Monday I went to the mall and there was a 3 for 2 sale on Torchwood books, so I bought all three from Series 2. I just finished the last one, 'Twilight Streets'. It was the best one, so I'm glad I read it last. It was full of Jack/Ianto goodness! I think at some parts I totally forgot how to breathe! *sigh* I miss Torchwood. Like, a lot. I miss Jack/Ianto. Can Ianto please, please be in the Doctor Who finale? Everyone else is!

Also, yesterday I was reading 'Something in the Water', which is another Torchwood book, and in it all these people got a weird alien disease that started out as a sore throat, and this morning I woke up with a sore throat, and now I'm paranoid. I took some airborne, though, and it seems to be going away. Maybe it was just because I left my window open all night. But if it is an alien disease, can Jack and Ianto come save me? And bring the Doctor and Donna with them? Because even if they didn't have a cure, it would still make my entire life.

OMG. So last night, I went to this church in Red Oak, right? And I took Eliana with me, and all you have to do is go up the 875 toward Waxahachie, and turn right where it dead ends (like you're going to Waxahachie), and get on the 35. Only whenever I come back, I always get off an exit too early, or something, so I warned Elli about it, but I was so intent on not getting lost that I ended up going by all the exits for Waxahachie. And then there's not another exit for like TEN MILES. So we ended up in Foreston, or something, and then I was finally able to exit and get back going the other way, only I still go off on the wrong exit, somehow, I don't even know, and I was like, okay, whatever, if we drive this way, we eventually have to hit the 287, right? So we're driving through LITERALLY PITCH BLACK COUNTRYSIDE, only there are a few other cars, so I can't turn my brights on, and Elli starts talking about Texas Chainsaw Massacre and how she wore the wrong shoes, and THEN the low fuel light turns on and I'm like OMG WHY COULD THIS NOT HAPPEN TO ME IN WALES.

So yeah. We ended up in Maypearl somehow. It was crazy.

Also, we seriously need Ianto on Doctor Who. There should be a petition or something, only actually if we did that, Rusty would probably be like, 'Oh, the fans want that? THEN NO. IT'S MY SHOW AND I'LL DO AS I PLEASE.' So yeah. Maybe we should start a petition to keep Ianto out of DW.

And re. Liz: meh, she's high maintenance; I'd be relieved too, to be honest. You guys will have fun though. I promise. &hearts

I don't know which one would work, actually. Because, like, a lot of people wanted Rose back, and now she is. (Aside: Am I the only one who's kind of annoyed that Rose is this series' Bad Wolf/Torchwood/Mr. Saxon? Because, like, how unintriguing is that, since we already know that she's coming back and stuff. It's like if Torchwood had been in Series 3 instead of Series 2, after the first series of Torchwood was on, because we'd already have known about Torchwood, you know? I guess I was just hoping for ... a better kept secret or deeper mystery or ... something...)

I know! I was like, dude, at least if I were in Wales, Torchwood could save me; now I'm going to die in the random countryside of stupid Texas. :P

True story, I guess, but I think that's because he's in love with Rose himself, so he's more willing to make exceptions/find ways around his own canon. :P (Yeah, no, I could see that. It's like, even if it were just references to her, we'd already know, but when we see her, it's like, okay, just bring her back already instead of this stupid stringing us along. Although I have to say, after the explosion of OMG ROSE!!!!!!! on my flist after the last arc, I didn't expect to have to go back and rewatch that part to see it. I was way too on edge about Donna being trapped with the Sontarans and such to even notice, and yeah, I'm watching on an iPod, but it was like, three seconds. I guess I was expecting it to be a bigger deal and to like, find something out, you know?)

So true! I almost wish I had the alien disease just so Torchwood could come cure me! Except I'm in Scotland, so I'd probably just end up with creepy Archie from Torchwood Two. So maybe it's good that my sore throat went away...

You do know RTD is gay, right? I like to think he's more in love with Ianto and wants to put him in everything!

... Okay, so I know that's not true, but it should be! (No, seriously, either just bring her back completely or wait until the finale. We already know she's coming back, you don't have to keep throwing it in our faces. I actually thought I imagined it in the last episode, and then on the website there was this clip titled 'Rose', and I was like, "WTF, WOT?" And then, yeah, it was all of three seconds and I was just like, "You may as well have not even had that in there. Either bring her back or don't!" ARGH!)

Oh, I'm also upset that tomorrow's episode is going on at 6:45 instead of 6:20, because that means it probably won't hit the website until 8:00, and that's right around the same time Liz will get here. And she'll be all, "I haven't seen you in five months, forget about stupid Doctor Wow, blahblahblah!" But whatever, she's still going to have to deal because it's Doctor Who, and I'm not waiting until Wednesday! And it'll be totally hypocritical if little Miss TiVo lectures me about placing a high priority on TV shows. This isn't stupid 'Grey's Anatomy' or 'Desperate Housewives' or 'Greek'. It's Doctor Who! So ... there! Or something...

That's an amazing Jack song! (How long d'you give it before it turns up in every Jack fanmix on the site?) But seriously, you should make an angsty Jack fanmix. I was going to make a Doctor fanmix like, a month ago, but I always lose interest halfway through my mixes and never finish them. Plus I can't do cover art, so...

Oh, speaking of which, I seriously need to send you my edited 'Doctor' version of 'My Back Pages' because I'm so, so proud I figured out how to do it. And the song is perfect for the Doctor.
