Sometimes, when I am sitting on a cliff by the ocean, and the water below me is swelling and surging like a mass of liquid chrome, and out of the corner of my eye I see the waves crashing gloriously twenty-five feet up the cliff face, and before me lies a magnificent sunset, it strikes me that nature is simply far too vast for me to ever be capable of appreciating it in its fullness.
And it is this, above all else, that makes me believe in the existence of God.
